Nissan adds a splash of colour to Malta’s whitest night
 
Nissan Motor Sales Ltd, the local importer and distributor for Nissan in Malta, has just been awarded the Nissan 2015 Global Award, making the company one of the best Nissan dealers in the world.
 
Drawing inspiration from the company’s popular slogan ‘Innovation that Excites’, Nissan has outdone itself once again during its performance in Piazza La Vallette during this year’s Notte Bianca by weaving together a tapestry of heritage, technology and creativity and staging a memorable performance that went viral.
 
“Nissan has increasingly gained popularity among local motorists and can be easily recognised as one of Malta’s most popular car brands these days. We wanted to thank all our clients for choosing Nissan by localising the brand by delivering a dose of ‘Innovation that Excites’,” noted Ms Taryn Mizzi, Marketing Manager for Nissan Malta.
 
Photos and selfies flooded the Internet by excited viewers who managed to spot the locally themed ‘Luzzu Qashqai’ or the ‘Maltese Bus Juke’ in Valletta. Foreign 3D street artists further complemented the displays by breathing life into the various scenarios.
 
Visitors were also able to express their creativity through a customised app that allowed them to include their drawings on a touch screen that were eventually mapped live onto the body of the new Nissan Qashqai. Additionally a 3D Animation Mapping Show was performed on the freshly launched Nissan Leaf, the latest electric car from the Nissan family.
 
Apart from fun and colour, visitors were also offered the possibility of participating in a competition to be in with the chance of winning two all-inclusive tickets to watch the UEFA’s Champions League 2016 Finals in Milan next May.
“It has been extremely exciting to collaborate with Creative Agency TBWA\ANG on this project. I believe that we have successfully managed to project the Nissan brand further at a local level,” commented Ms Mizzi. “It was incredible to see the public come together to share their creativity, and having our exciting innovation flood the Internet on both local and international portals. We are honoured to have received such positive brand engagement from the public and look forward to rolling out further Nissan innovation in the near future,” she concluded.
